About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced SLG Traffic Management Supervisor to join our team in Galway. This role is crucial in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient traffic management across active worksites.
Key Responsibilities
Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems (signs, cones, barriers, lights, etc.)
Ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, and all on-site personnel
Carrying out site risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with Irish traffic management legislation
Adhering to strict health & safety procedures and site rules
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends where required
Communicating clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and the public
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you MUST have:
Valid SLG 3-Day Ticket (Signing, Lighting & Guarding – mandatory)
Previous experience in traffic management, construction, or a similar environment
Strong understanding of health & safety standards
Full, clean driving licence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
