Freelance Slinger/Signaller (Traffic Management)
PSR Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for a freelance Slinger/Signaller to join their site team.
About the Role
This is a contract position supporting highway and civils projects. You'll work closely with plant operators, site supervisors and the traffic management crew to keep operations safe, compliant and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clear, accurate signalling for all plant and vehicle movements
Tow and manoeuvre Transit tippers around site safely
Assist with setting out traffic management schemes, cone layouts and signage
Carry out general odd jobs including site clearance, equipment checks and minor repairs
Maintain daily records and communicate updates to the site supervisor
Essential Requirements
Valid EUSR Card Level 1 and Level 2
Accredited Slinger/Signaller certification
Proven experience in a civil or highways environment
Confident handling of Transit tippers
Familiar with setting-out procedures for traffic schemes
Good physical fitness and a positive, team-focused attitude
Available for freelance contract work, including occasional weekend or early-start shifts
