Crane Slinger - Mid-Cornwall
We are working with a well-established and respected building construction company to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Crane Slinger in Mid-Cornwall.
As a Crane Slinger, your main responsibilities will include:
Carrying out slinging and signalling duties safely and efficiently.
Reading and interpreting lift plans to ensure accurate execution.
Ensuring safe lifting operations in collaboration with the Line Manager, Appointed Person, and Crane Supervisor.
Conducting pre-use inspections and maintenance on lifting accessories.
Identifying and removing any damaged or faulty lifting equipment from service.
Adhering to BS7121 and LOLER/PUWER regulations to uphold safe lifting practices.
Establishing clear communication and agreed signalling methods before commencing lifts.What We're Looking For:
We invite applications from individuals with some or all of the following:
CPCS A40B (All Duties) certification
2-5 years of experience working with mobile cranes as a Slinger/Signaller
Familiarity with BS7121, LOLER, and PUWER regulations
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while following safety procedures
