Job Description
Slinger (Cover Position) needed in Bracknell
* Start Date: Immediate
* Duration: 2 days (cover work)
* Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
* Hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (9.5 hours paid per day)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Slinger for a short-term cover position on a construction site in Bracknell. This is a 2-day assignment, starting immediately, and will involve assisting with lifting operations on site.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Carrying out slinging and signalling duties to support lifting operations.
* Ensuring all lifts are carried out safely and in line with site requirements.
* Communicating clearly with crane operators and site management.
* Following health and safety regulations and site RAMS.
* Assisting with general site duties when required.
Requirements
* Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller ticket.
* Previous experience carrying out lifting operations on construction sites.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
PAYE Umbrella – What This Means
This role is paid through a PAYE Umbrella company. You will be employed by the umbrella company, who process your pay through PAYE (Pay As You Earn). This means:
* Tax and National Insurance contributions are deducted at source.
* Statutory benefits such as holiday pay and sick pay are included.
* A weekly payroll fee may apply (deducted by the umbrella provider).
