Senior SME Insurance Broker - Commercial Insurance
Leeds
£36,000 + Bonus

Are you a skilled commercial insurance professional ready to take on a senior role? This is your opportunity to join a high-performing insurance team in Leeds, where you’ll take the lead on client renewals, guide your colleagues, and help shape best-in-class SME solutions.
In this role, you'll be part of a growing, innovative business committed to empowering companies with reliable, sustainable insurance coverage. You’ll have the autonomy to own your portfolio and the support of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage end-to-end renewals, ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations
* Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to less experienced team members
* Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and insurers
* Respond to client queries with professionalism and in-depth knowledge
* Drive client retention and renewal success through expert advice and attention to detail
* Identify new business and cross-sell opportunities within your client base
* Keep the Acturis system fully updated with accurate client and policy data
What you’ll bring
* At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance (motor and non-motor)
* Ideally CII qualified, or actively working towards certification
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proven client relationship management skills
* Excellent organisational skills and a detail-oriented mindset
* Ability to lead by example, mentor others, and collaborate across teams
* Familiarity with Acturis or similar insurance platforms is a strong plus
