SMT Technician
Hemel Hempstead
£35,000 per annum DOE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated SMT Technician to play a key role in production and development.
Are you an experienced SMT Technician looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our client's team, working with cutting-edge technology in electronics manufacturing.
SMT Technician Requirements
Proven experience operating and running SMT machinery (Pick & Place, screen printers, reflow ovens, AOI machines).
Confident in loading, setting, and operating machines with components and PCBs.
Through-hole machine soldering experience.
Strong component recognition skills.
Ability to interpret circuit and engineering diagrams.
SMT machine programming experience (advantageous, not essential).
Europlacer experience (beneficial but not required).SMT Technician Responsibilities
Load, set up, and operate SMT machines.
Check SMT parts kitting and set up feeders.
Hand-place and solder surface mount components.
Inspect, rework, and repair faulty components.
Self-certify and check your own work.
Carry out occasional cable assembly tasks.
