Snr Database Administrator, Bedford, MK43
NB: Hybrid working available but must be commutable to Bedford MK43.
Reactive Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the UKs leading distribution companies. Due to expansion, their specialist freight forwarding division are looking for a Database Administrator to work in a hybrid capacity.
Overview:
To create and manage all aspects of master data for all clients and suppliers on their in-house and Oracle systems to enable timely & accurate client billing and supplier payment entries
To maintain all billing, supplier, collection/delivery account information and tariff information in their in-house system and create new records as per the requirements of operations and commercial teams
Master Data Controller (Database Administrator) is responsible to work with IT suppliers (internal & external) and approve any system developments that impact the delivery of billing/payment information
To oversee a small team of Finance Administrators responsible for master data tasks
Requirements:
Experience with Oracle advantageous
Team leader experience/qualities overseeing a small team is also advantageous
Intermediate level with Excel including spreadsheets etc
Excellent communication skills important for leasing with internal and external contacts
High accuracy and attention to detail
Solid PC literacy with all MS programmes
