I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school based in Newham who are looking to appoint a qualified social science teacher to join their team ASAP. The school are looking for a committed and enthusiastic psychology or sociology specialist to join their Social Sciences department being. The school are ideally looking for a social science teacher who has the ability to teach another subject but is not essential.

This multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, secondary school based in Newham support a total of 814 students aged 11 to 16. With the school newly opened in January 2018, there is continuous growth with a curriculum that suits the needs of each individual with high levels of challenge. The school has a provision for 25 pupils with profound, severe, and multiple learning difficulties which is supported by a specialist PMLD team of teachers and support staff. The school is described as a safe, positive, and family-friendly environment with exceptional facilities for young people to learn and grow. The current headteacher is passionate about supporting all pupils to leave having made excellent progress throughout their time in school.
