Teach Now is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Dacorum, Hertfordshire, to recruit a dynamic and dedicated Social Science Teacher for a part-time, temporary position starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them understand the world through the lens of sociology, psychology, politics, or other humanities-based disciplines.

The Role
As a Social Science Teacher, your role will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and discussion
• Teaching a broad range of social science subjects to students aged 11–16
• Supporting students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills
• Contributing to the development of the curriculum and departmental activities
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices
Who We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching social science subjects at KS3–KS4
• Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
• Passion for encouraging student engagement in real-world topics
• A flexible, proactive, and reflective practitioner
