Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Social Science Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in Birmingham. The school is seeking a full-time teacher to deliver Social Science across KS4 and KS5, with subjects including Sociology, Psychology, and Criminology. This is a permanent position, open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators who are looking to thrive in a supportive, well-resourced, and academically ambitious environment.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, in line with experience (MPS1 – UPS3)

Experience and Qualifications:

A degree in a Social Science-related subject (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, Criminology)

QTS or PGCE
*
Ability to teach Social Science subjects confidently at KS4 and KS5
*
Passion for subject-specific teaching and a drive to inspire academic excellence
*
Experience in independent or maintained schools is welcome
