Job Description
Are you a passionate and committed Social Science Teacher ready to make a real difference in an inclusive and high-performing school? An Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a talented teacher to join their thriving Social Science department from September 2025.
This is a full-time, permanent position, open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. The role involves teaching Social Science across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including GCSE and A-Level Sociology, Psychology, and Criminology.

• Holds QTS or PGCE

• Can confidently teach Social Science across KS4 and KS5
• Demonstrates a passion for subject content and student success
• Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and professional development
Salary & Contract Details:
• MPS1 – UPS3 depending on experience
• Full-time, permanent role
• Start date: September 2025
