Job Description
Social Value Coordinator - House Builder
I am working with a well-established house builder based in Coventry, known for delivering high-quality homes and making a genuine commitment to the communities they work in. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Social Value Coordinator to support the delivery of social impact across their developments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and wants to play an active role in delivering real value to communities through residential development. Ideally, you will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within housebuilding, construction, or a related sector.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the planning and delivery of social value initiatives across live residential sites
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and local partners to meet commitments around local employment, apprenticeships, school engagement, and volunteering
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to internal updates and client reporting
Assisting with the preparation of social value content for bids, tenders, and planning submissions
Building and maintaining relationships with schools, community groups, charities, and employment providers
Promoting the importance of social value across the business and helping embed it into day-to-day practice
This is a varied and rewarding role, well suited to someone who is proactive, well organised, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of people both on site and in the community.
