Senior Social Worker Practitioner - Learning & Development
Are you a Senior Social Worker Practitioner passionate about training, learning and practice development? Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking an experienced practitioner to support the professional growth of social work staff and teams across the service. This is an exciting opportunity to influence practice at a service-wide level.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality training and learning support across a range of practice areas, including safeguarding, practice development and skills-based learning.
Work collaboratively with services to identify learning needs and co-design responsive training offers.
Promote a learning culture through coaching, mentoring, reflective spaces and practice development sessions.
Ensure training is evidence-based, impactful, and aligned with statutory and best practice frameworks.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience as a Senior Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner within Children's Social Care.
Strong knowledge of what good practice looks like in working with children and families.
Experience designing and delivering impactful training and facilitating group learning.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, adaptable to a range of audiences.
A passion for improving outcomes for children and families through practice excellence.Why Apply?
