We're looking for an experienced Team Manager to join our Duty and Assessment/Child Protection Teams, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our most vulnerable residents.
About the Role:
As a Team Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of social workers, officers, and other professionals who work together to deliver exceptional services to children, young people, and families. You'll have a proven track record of experience in duty and assessment and child protection teams, with a strong understanding of the complexities and nuances of these roles.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of social workers and officers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services
Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, ensuring that our teams are equipped to meet the changing needs of our community
Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to service delivery
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide interventions to support vulnerable children, young people, and families
Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislationRequirements:
Proven experience of working in duty and assessment and child protection teams, with a strong understanding of the complexities and nuances of these roles
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional services
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and service users
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality services under pressureHow to Apply:
