Exciting New Opportunity - Qualified Social Worker (Child Protection) 🌟
We're currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team in Derbyshire County Council - one of our Tier One local authority clients!
Here's everything you need to know 👇
📍 Location: Derbyshire (commutable from surrounding areas incl. Hull)
💷 Rate: Up to £25.80/hour (Umbrella)
🗓️ Start Date: ASAP
🕘 Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Full-Time)
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
You will be working within a Child Protection team, supporting children and families through:
✅ Section 47 enquiries
✅ Court proceedings & legal documentation
✅ Managing Children Looked After (CLA) cases
✅ Working within a multi-agency safeguarding framework
✅ Attending legal planning meetings and case conferences
✅ Essential Requirements:
✔️ SWE Registration
✔️ Minimum 3 years permanent experience in a UK Local Authority
✔️ Strong background in Child Protection, Court Work & CLA
✔️ Confident with court reports, assessments & safeguarding processes
✔️ Able to start immediately or within 1-2 weeks
