About the Role:
We're looking for a dedicated EHASH Social Worker with 3+ years post-qualifying experience in children's safeguarding 👩⚕️👨⚕️. You will be the first point of contact, screening children's contacts that come through the front door 🚪, ensuring that children and their families receive timely and appropriate support ❤️👨👩👧👦.
Key Responsibilities:
🕵️♀️ Screen and triage children's safeguarding contacts promptly
📞 Assess and respond to safeguarding concerns to provide the right support
🤝 Work closely with partner agencies to protect vulnerable children
📝 Maintain accurate records of all contacts and decisions
💡 Provide professional advice and guidance within safeguarding frameworks
⚖️ Work within legal and policy frameworks to promote child welfare
What We're Looking For:
🏅 HCPC registered Social Worker
📆 Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children's safeguarding
📚 Strong knowledge of safeguarding laws and best practices
🗣️ Excellent communication and assessment skills
💪 Able to manage a high volume of contacts with care and professionalism
💖 Commitment to supporting children and families in need
