Pay Rate: £25.89 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker experienced in children in care work to support services in the Dudley Metropolitan Council area. The successful candidate will work with children placed with parents or under interim care orders whose final care plans are for adoption or long-term fostering.
The role involves working alongside court social workers to build relationships with children’s families and carers while ensuring all corporate parenting responsibilities are met. Key duties include preparing reports, chairing PEPs, completing CLA reviews, and supporting permanence planning.
This position is within the safeguarding service, with close working ties to the family safeguarding team. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years’ post-qualifying experience and a strong background in corporate parenting practiceBefore You Apply
