📍 Huyton, Merseyside (Hybrid – 3 days office)
💰 £42,839 per annum
🕒 Up to 36 hours per week | Full-time or Part-time
📅 Permanent | Start May 2026
We are currently recruiting for 2 Qualified Social Workers to join a Children Looked After / Court Team within a well-established local authority on a strong improvement journey.
This is a non-case holding role within an Accelerated Permanence Team, offering a fantastic opportunity to focus on court work, permanence planning and achieving positive outcomes for children in care.
🔹 The Role
* Work within a Court / LAC team supporting children in care
* Contribute to court proceedings and permanency planning
* Prepare high-quality reports and assessments
* Work closely with multi-agency partners and legal teams
* Support children, young people and families through the care process
🔹 Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker
* Registered with Social Work England
* Experience within Children’s Social Care
* Strong report writing and court work experience
* Ability to build strong professional relationships
