Social Worker (Children's, Schools And Families)
Location: Camborne, Cornwall
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate 25.22 LTD inclusive of holiday pay or £19.70 Exclusive of holiday pay
Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Cornwall Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Child Protection Team in Camborne for an initial 12-week contract, with the possibility of extension.
Candidate Responsibilities:
Hold child protection cases and chair multi-agency core group meetings
Complete and present reports within the child protection arena using Signs of Safety approach
Undertake s.47 enquiries and complete child protection investigations and reports
Write court reports and present evidence in court
Cover duty work and have experience in child protection, court work, and child in care work
Knowledge/use of Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system is an advantage
Have own transport and be willing to travel across CornwallBenefits:
