Job Description
Tripod Partners is currently looking for a qualified Social Worker to join the Adults, team in Southampton on a full-time basis.
This post pays £28 per hour, and offers a chance to support adults with care and support needs, carers, and families across the city. You'll be based within the adult social care team, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The council takes a strengths-based approach, with a strong focus on resilience, early intervention, and multi-agency working.
This is a varied statutory role that includes assessments, care planning, safeguarding, and risk management, all within the framework of the Care Act. You'll be working alongside other professionals to deliver timely interventions, co-produce plans, and ensure the best outcomes for residents.
To be considered, you must:

Hold a recognised Social Work qualification

Be registered with Social Work England
*
Have experience in adult services, ideally within a local authority setting
*
Be confident handling safeguarding enquiries, capacity assessments, and managing complex caseloads
*
Be able to travel across Southampton for home visits and meetings
This is a contractual car user role and requires a current Enhanced DBS.
