Social Worker - Children in Care Court Team
 📍 Location: Northampton (Hybrid working - varies week to week)
 🕒 Hours: 37 per week
 💷 Pay Rate: £38 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Court Team, which oversees children subject to legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans across Northamptonshire.
You will play a key role in ensuring that every child receives the support they need through effective planning, strong relationships, and high-quality court work. 
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of children involved in court proceedings
Complete assessments, court reports, and statements to a high standard
Undertake statutory visits and maintain all responsibilities of a case-holding social worker
Deliver a dedicated court function within the team
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children 
What We're Looking For
Qualified and registered Social Worker
Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience
Completion of the ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident in analysis, decision-making, and working under pressure
