Qualified Social Worker – Children’s Services 
Location: Southend-on-Sea
 Contract: Permanent
 Salary: £39,152 – £45,091
 (Please note: the top end of the salary band will be available following successful completion of the 6 month probation period)
 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 2 days per week based in the office

 Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Social Worker to join their Children’s Services team in Southend on Sea on a permanent basis.

 The Role: As a Social Worker, you will deliver professional, comprehensive, and child focused social work practice, managing a caseload of children and young people that is appropriate to your experience and capabilities.

 Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional and comprehensive casework to children and young people
Manage a caseload in line with experience, capability, and service requirements
Complete assessments, care planning, reviews, and statutory visits
Ensure the highest professional standards are maintained across all areas of practice
Work in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice models
Produce high quality reports and maintain accurate case records
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies
Contribute to safeguarding and permanency planning for children and young peopleRequirements:
Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
Registered with Social Work England
Good overall knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and social work practice methods
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi?disciplinary team
Strong organisational and communication skillsWhat’s on Offer:
