Opus people solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join Childrens Mash Team
Job Title: Social Worker - Mash
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £35-£40
Location: Cambridge, Huntingdon
Remote/Office based:Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities:
To screen contacts, discuss with parents/families and liaise with partners to arrive at a recommendation.
Working with partners and engaging with professionals and members of the public professionally and respectfully.
Articulate reason for recommendation and have good understanding of the CA legislation and other legislation that affects children and families.
Good understanding of threshold application and case trajectory in children's services.
Able to work with other teams and services to ensure that the needs of children are promoted and supported.Skills:
Social Work England Registered
Previous MASH experience
Three years post qualifying experience
