Durham County Council is looking for a skilled and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our team in the south of the county. This is a unique opportunity for a non-case holding role, offering a competitive rate of up to £32 per hour.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a Social Worker who excels at completing specific, focused pieces of work. You will be responsible for undertaking bespoke assessments, including:
* Pre-Birth Assessments
* Parenting Assessments
* Children and Family Assessments
You will be allocated these pieces of work by the manager and will be expected to deliver high-quality, thorough reports. This role allows you to use your assessment expertise to support families without the demands of a full caseload.
