Job Opportunity: Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's) 🌟
📍 Location: Staffordshire (County-wide)
⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay: Up to £24.38 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role:
You will work across various teams in Staffordshire, so a broad understanding of children's social work services is essential. Teams requiring cover include:
1 x Integrated Front Door Service
4 x Duty Teams
1 x Children in Care Team
You'll support complex children and families across the full spectrum of children's services, including assessments and court work as needed.
What You'll Be Doing:
🧸 Providing specialist support to children and families in complex situations
📝 Conducting assessments and preparing court reports where required
🤝 Working collaboratively with multiple teams and partner agencies
📞 Responding to duty emergencies (preference for candidates local to Staffordshire)
👥 Contributing to practice development and supporting colleagues
Pay Rates (In line with MOU):
Social Worker / Band 1
ASYE + at least 2 years' experience
💷 £28.55 per hour
Senior Social Worker / Band 2
ASYE + at least 3 years' experience
💷 £30.57 per hour
Advanced/Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager
Caseload management plus supervisory or practice development duties
💷 £33.30 per hour
