TeacherActive are working with a high-achieving Sixth Form College in South London to recruit an inspiring and dedicated Sociology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department within a college known for its strong academic standards and commitment to student success.
About the Role:
Teach A-Level Sociology to engaged and motivated sixth form students.
Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating lessons that encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
Participate in wider college life and uphold the institution’s values and ethos.
About You:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in Sociology or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching post-16 learners.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Must hold a valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
