Start a new and exciting role as a Sociology Teacher at a well-resourced and highly supportive Secondary School in Warwickshire. Starting from next term, you will be joining an experienced and well skilled Social Science Department.
KEY STAGES: Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5)
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary (two-terms)

We are working alongside an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area. The school has superb facilities and views themselves as an innovative teaching and learning community.
The Role – Sociology Teacher
Our client school require an inspirational, well qualified and hardworking teacher of Sociology to join a successful, supportive and popular Social Science department with excellent facilities. You will deliver Sociology throughout Key Stages 4 and 5 so this role suits a teacher looking to teach A-Level classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Social Science teacher (NQT) as well as Social Science Teachers with more experience. The successful candidate will be a high calibre Sociology teacher with a drive to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning, contributing to our client school's students' educational experience. The ability to offer Psychology and Health and Social Care is advantageous for this role. The successful teacher will be required to cover an absence within the Social Science department for a maternity leave.
Sociology Teacher Spec
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a Sociology Teacher who has obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS). Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) who have had their qualifications verified by UK NARIC will also be considered. You will be required to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to maintain the school's high standards of achievement. The successful Sociology Teacher will be able to contribute positively to the continuation of an ambitious and progressive Social Science Department.
