Job Description
Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced soft landscaper who has a great passion for plants and outdoor spaces who is looking to work on incredible gardens to create new landscapes and developing existing landscapes. You will be working with designers, clients and a close knit team.
Our client creates some of the finest private gardens in the county. Their projects demand precision, horticultural expertise, and pride in execution.
They are looking for an experienced Soft Landscaper who understands that quality comes from care, preparation, and attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities
You’ll be part of their build team delivering high-end soft landscaping projects across beautifully designed private gardens.
Your work will include:
Setting out and implementing detailed planting plans
Tree and specimen planting
Soil preparation and ground improvement
Turfing and lawn installation (including fine grading)
Installing irrigation systems
Mulching, staking and finishing works to a high standard
Supporting handover to our aftercare team
This is skilled, detail-driven soft landscaping — not just digging holes.
What they are looking for:
Has 3+ years’ experience in soft landscaping
Has solid plant knowledge and understands correct planting techniques
Can read and interpret planting plans
Works accurately and takes pride in high standards
Holds a full UK clean driving licence
Communicates well within a team environment
Horticultural qualification, machinery tickets, irrigation experience, PA1/PA6. – Beneficial
Most importantly you care about doing things properly.
