Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
We're working with one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK working on a large government contract at a facility in Addlestone. In this role you will be responsible for approximately a team of 30 people across various soft services works.

Job requirements for a Soft Services Manager:
* The Soft Services Supervisor will be a key point of contact for all soft services, will represent the organisation and will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the soft services and take ownership of tasks as required.
* Responsible for service delivery of cleaning (day and evening), pest control, grounds maintenance, messenger & mail, reprographics, fleet management and reception services.
* Compliance to contract relating to soft services.
* Line management of approximately 30 staff covering all elements of HR and P&C (including recruitment, absence management, performance management, development and training).
* Responsible for HSE documentation relating to soft services (risk assessments, SOPs, COSHH assessments).
* To show responsibility for personal health and safety, and that of others in the conduct of the job in line with company and legal requirements.
* Responsible for management of site time & attendance and compliance to daily requirements. Complete daily arbitrations and management of sickness, holiday and other absences.
* Completion of soft services audits via Service Trac (cleaning – monthly with client).
* Supplier management for ground controls – ensuring work is completed in line with contract and HSE requirements.
* Support & manage all soft services purchase orders, goods receipting and invoice approvals.
* Implement site reward & recognition schemes.
* Coordinate the booking of temporary soft services staff on the approved system.
* Coordinate the booking of training (HSE, technical and anything site specific) for all site team members.
* Maintain a clean, presentable, and safe office. Maintain a strong presence and observe quality control issues (i.e. building cleanliness, comfort factors, fabric and maintenance) and actively log tickets requiring service from other areas and suppliers.
* Support site and community initiatives.
* Develop deep and trusting relationships with colleagues.
* Establish good working relationships with customers and colleagues in order to be recognised as the natural “go to” person for soft services operations.
* Promote collaboration across all operational and support teams, preferred suppliers, and customer groups.
* Support the soft services team to create the best customer and workplace experience
