Software Architect
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Software Architect based in the Newcastle area.
This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

The Role:
This role is for a Software Architect —someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Translate business goals and high-level requirements into robust software architectures.
Design scalable, flexible, and maintainable architectures for complex geospatial systems using the latest modern cloud-based technologies and tools
Identify technical risks early and define pragmatic mitigation strategiesThe Individual 
We’re looking for people who can show:

Designing and owning software architectures for complex systems, preferably in a cloud environment, with an awareness of DevSecOps
Exposure to working in environments with security, reliability, and compliance constraints, preferably in the geospatial domain.The Benefits:
