Software Engineer – Full-Time, On-Site (Oxford)
About the role
We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing company based near Oxford. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team of developers, engineers, and technical specialists to design and develop software that supports advanced manufacturing processes.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to real-world applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, manage data, and support the creation of high-performance components.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support software platforms
- Contribute to optimisation of advanced manufacturing processes
- Assist in component design, build preparation, and material composition planning
- Participate in the full agile development lifecycle
- Work collaboratively to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
Requirements
- Degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science (2:1 minimum)
- Proficient in C# and .NET
- Strong interest in applied engineering, modelling, or process optimisation
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and/or Blazor
- Working with 3D data or WPF
- Familiarity with machine learning, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
