Role: Software Developer
Location: Nottingham
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days in the office | 35-hour week
Salary: Up to £55k

If you’re a hands-on Software Developer who actually enjoys building things properly (not just patching legacy forever), this one’s worth your time.
You’ll be joining a cutting-edge tech business working on products that genuinely power real-world commerce, handling everything from order management to shipping at scale. This isn’t theory… this is software that businesses rely on daily.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be right in the thick of it, writing clean code, solving real problems, and shipping features that matter.
  * Building and improving core platform features
  * Developing APIs, backend services & databases
  * Debugging properly (root cause, not quick fixes)
  * Working in a tight Agile team delivering real sprint value
  * Contributing ideas to the future roadmap (your voice matters here)
  * Collaborating with Devs, Testers & BAs to get things done
This is a fully hands-on role, you’re expected to code, think, and contribute.
Tech stack (what you’ll be using)
  * C# / .NET Core / .NET 6
  * ASP.NET MVC
  * Web APIs
  * SQL Server
  * JavaScript / HTML

  * Solid experience with .NET and backend development
  * Someone who can solve problems without hand-holding
  * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused team
  * Strong communicator, can explain what you’re building and why
  * A proactive mindset (you don’t wait to be told what to do)
