Job Description
This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to critical defence systems, working on complex projects that ensure national security and safeguard our freedoms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop software solutions in C++ and C# to meet new customer requirements
Enhance the functionality of existing products within a team of 5-7 engineers
Understand and integrate various subsystems within a delivery
Involve in all aspects of development, integration, delivery into service, and service support
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the success of defence projects
Utilise Agile methodologies (Scrum) to manage software development cycles
Job Requirements:
Strong background in software engineering and understanding of its system-wide impact
Proficiency in C++ and C# development
Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
Familiarity with Windows OS lockdown and Automated Testing is beneficial
Ability to work on-site 5 days a week due to workload classification
Eligible for HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)
