Software Training & Support Specialist
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000
My client, a leading organisation within the aerospace and defence sector, is seeking a Software Training & Support Specialist to join their Aerotrac Support & Training Team.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging ERP training, providing expert user support, and helping to shape the effective use of Aerotrac across the business. You will work closely with key functions including Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance-playing a pivotal role in driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive Aerotrac ERP training programme.
Deliver in-person training at the Bournemouth HQ and across UK and international sites.
Act as the primary point of contact for user support, guidance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the Change Lead Group to ensure training aligns with evolving business processes.
Maintain high standards of training delivery and continuously improve programme effectiveness.
Represent the business in monthly meetings with Aerotrac's software developer (Tracware).
Provide cover for the Aerotrac Support Lead as required.
Essential:
Train the Trainer qualification.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and engineering practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify and deliver complex topics in an engaging, accessible manner.
Flexibility to travel internationally (a full driving licence is essential).
Eligibility to obtain security clearance for this opportunity.
Desirable:
Experience with Aerotrac ERP.
Knowledge of UK CAA and EASA aviation regulatory frameworks.
