Solar Installer – Renewable Energy Projects Norfolk
Location: Across Norfolk
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time 45 hours a week
About the Role
We’re recruiting an experienced Solar Installer to join a leading renewable energy contractor based in Dereham.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that’s driving the UK’s transition to green energy. You’ll be involved in a variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial PV installations, with long-term stability and clear scope for progression.
Key Responsibilities
*
Install solar PV systems using pitched, flat, ground-mounted, and carport mounting systems.
*
Fit brackets, rails, and panels safely and efficiently.
*
Support electrical teams with cable installation, containment, inverter, and battery setup.
*
Work from technical drawings and specifications in line with all health & safety regulations.
*
Deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain a professional standard on every project.
Requirements
*
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Solar PV installation.
*
Valid ECS/CSCS card.
*
Proven experience installing PV systems across multiple settings.
*
Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
*
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
*
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
