The role: Solar Installer
Drivers licence essential (Company van & Fuel card provided)
All kinds of labouring, scaffolding, roofing or similar experience considered!
📍 Penrith, Cumbria
💰 £15 - £20 per hour / up to £41,600 salary
⭐ Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
A well established and continuously growing renewable energy business in Cumbria is looking to expand its installation team with the addition of a Solar Installer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company operating across both domestic and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work in the region.
⚡ The Solar Installer Role
Working an 8 till 5PM shift, you will start from the office and head to site with a Solar Electrician, travelling to sites in a company van.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Installing solar panel systems to roofs along with their mounting structures
Supporting electrical wiring and connecting system components (full training will be provided)
Carrying out work safely at height and in various outdoor conditions
Making sure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
