Job Title: Solar Panel Installer (Lead Roofer) – Domestic

Location: Manchester (covering Manchester and surrounding areas)

Salary: £42,000 per year (starting from, depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solar Panel Installer (Lead Roofer) to join our growing team at Apollogrid.

You will work in a team of two, delivering high-quality solar PV installations across Manchester and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  * Install and maintain solar PV systems on domestic properties

  * Safely run and connect DC cables

  * Load and unload materials on site

  * Provide essential support to electricians during installations

  * Work at heights on various roof types

  * String and arrange panels according to design specifications

  * Collaborate closely with your teammate to complete projects efficiently and on time

  * Follow strict health & safety protocols

  * Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with homeowners
