Solar Electrician – Job Overview
We are working with an award-winning renewable energy company based in Manchester, who supply and fit Solar PV systems, EV Charging Points, Battery Storage and Heat Pumps. They are looking for a fully qualified experienced Solar Electrician to join the team covering the Manchester area with work also in Wigan & London.
You will be working alongside a team of roofers with most of the work being in the North West with other jobs further afield.
Within this role you will be responsible for the installation of Solar PV and battery storage systems on new build domestic & commercial properties in the local area. You will need to be fully qualified with your 18th Edition, City & Guilds Level 3, Solar PV Installation qualification and 2391 Test & Inspection. You will be responsible for the timely and efficient installation of solar systems onto the roof and making off connections up to and including the inverter and battery (DC Cabling), as well as installation of solar and battery systems
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
* Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
* Assist in digging trenches for underground wiring as needed.
* Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to assist with related tasks.
Salary Package
* Salary £40,000 - £45,000
