Job Description
Electrician – Solar PV Installation
A respected name in energy efficiency and technical building solutions is expanding rapidly, with a specialist Solar PV department experiencing double-digit growth year on year. As part of this exciting phase, they are seeking a qualified Electrician to play a pivotal role in delivering solar PV projects to high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
This is a key opportunity for an experienced and passionate electrician who thrives on delivering quality installations and is ready to support the next generation of talent through apprentice training. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults while maintaining safety standards.
Design and install indoor/outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Conduct inspection and testing of systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
Ensure all installations comply with national electrical safety standards and building regulations.
Support and mentor an apprentice electrician four days per week (subject to availability).
Liaise with subcontractors and customers to coordinate site activity.Requirements – Essential
Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
Recognised solar PV qualifications – BPEC or equivalent (e.g. MCS, BESS, Napit).
NVQ Level 3 technical qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds BS7671 Level 3).
Full UK driving licence.What’s on Offer
