Job Description
We’re hiring for a Solderer / Electrical Assembler to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Dukinfield, Tameside.
The job role includes helping to assemble many different products so you’ll need to be competent at soldering and working from written instructions / diagrams.
What’s on offer?
* £12.21 - £14.80 per hour
* Mon to Thurs 7:30am – 4:00pm / Fri 8:30am –2:00 pm
* Overtime available
What will you be doing as a Solderer / Electrical Assembler?
* Placing electronic components onto PCBs (printed circuit boards) and then to either hand solder them into place, or to use an automated selective solder machine
* Carrying out inspections and quality of products to ensure they meet the required standards
* Carrying out basic mechanical tasks using small tools and other general assembly tasks
What do you need?
* Previous electrical assembly experience
* Strong soldering skills and the ability to do dexterous work
* Understanding of components idents and markings are essential
* Good attention to detail
