Hiring Now: Band 8B Solicitor – NHS Legal Team (Remote/Hybrid) – £43.00 per hour
We are urgently seeking an experienced Band 8B Solicitor to support an NHS Trust Legal Team on a contract basis.
📍 Location: Salisbury area (Remote/Hybrid)
💷 Pay Rate: £43.00 per hour
📅 Duration: January – March 2026 (with potential extension)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Role Overview
* You will provide expert in-house legal support across key areas including:
* Clinical negligence (defendant)
* Inquests & Coroner’s Court preparation
* Healthcare law (consent, capacity, Mental Health Act, data protection)
* NHSR claims handling
* Disclosure requests & regulatory matters
* Supporting senior stakeholders and clinicians
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* Strong NHS, healthcare, clinical negligence, or inquest experience
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal team
