An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Solicitor to join a respected legal practice based in London. This role is ideal for a Solicitor with experience in commercial and/or residential property, looking to further their career within a well-established and supportive team.
The firm is known for its high-quality work across a wide range of property transactions and development matters. As a Real Estate Solicitor, you'll be joining a busy department handling acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and development projects for a variety of clients including developers, investors, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity would suit a Solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and looking for long-term progression.
The Solicitor's role
The Solicitor will manage a full caseload of real estate matters with minimal supervision. Work will include sales and purchases of commercial and residential properties, landlord and tenant matters, refinancing, and support on development projects. You will liaise directly with clients and other stakeholders, providing clear, timely legal advice and ensuring smooth transaction processes from instruction to completion.
You'll also have the opportunity to support senior fee earners on complex transactions and contribute to the continued growth of the department. Excellent drafting skills and a practical, commercial approach will be key to success in this role.
The Solicitor
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
1-4 years' PQE in real estate law (residential and/or commercial)
Strong technical knowledge of property law
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Excellent communication and client care skills
Experience with development work is desirable but not essential
