Job Title: Private Client Solicitor
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (36.25 hours, 8:45–17:00)
Workplace: Epsom – Office-based
Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays + Christmas/New Year
Overview:
A busy Private Client team is looking for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with minimum 2 years PQE. This in-office, full-time role involves managing your own caseload across Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs, and estate administration.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Manage caseload independently as a Private Client Solicitor, from instruction to completion.
*
Draft, review, and manage Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs, and related documents.
*
Provide clients with clear and accurate legal advice.
*
Liaise with colleagues, agents, and third parties professionally.
*
Maintain accurate billing, WIP, and time recording; follow up on aged invoices.
*
Assist colleagues with overflow work, ensuring compliance and organisation.
Candidate Profile:
*
Qualified solicitor or CILEx with 2+ years PQE in Private Client law.
*
Technical expertise in Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and IHT.
*
Excellent organisational, communication, and client-care skills.
*
Professional, proactive, and able to manage a busy in-office workload independently.
