We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Military Injury Solicitor to join our nationally respected team at Simpson Millar. About the Role: You’ll manage a diverse caseload of military claims with a focus on serious and high-value matters. You’ll have the autonomy to develop and grow the department through networking, referrals and marketing activities, while being supported by a collaborative, expert team. What You’ll Do: * Run and develop a caseload of military injury matters, with a focus on complex, high-value claims (Medical/Clinical negligence, Non-Freezing Cold Injuries (NFCI) / Cold Weather Injuries, Hearing Loss and Noise-Induced Injuries, Training Accidents, Bullying and Harassment) * Represent clients with empathy and professionalism, including conducting advocacy where appropriate. * Work with the team to build our military department's reputation and referral base. * Engage in business development and marketing activities to grow your own and the team’s profile. * Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop the website and increase lead generation. * Comply with all regulatory, data protection and file management policies. * Use case management systems (Proclaim) and digital tools to manage files efficiently. What We’re Looking For: * Minimum 4 years’ PQE running a personal injury caseload (military injury caseload a distinct advantage). * A confident and skilled advocate (or strong interest in developing this). * Strong business development and marketing capabilities. * Excellent knowledge of military claims procedures and relevant law. * Superb client care, organisation and time management skills. * Experience working with case management and legal tech systems.
