Solicitor - Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law, Essex or Suffolk

We are currently working on behalf of a highly regarded and nationally recognised law firm to recruit an experienced Solicitor to join their exceptional Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law Department. This team handles sensitive, complex, and often high-profile matters for clients in the Disciplined Services, both in the UK and internationally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor with a background in criminal defence, inquests, misconduct investigations, or regulatory law to take the next step in a career-defining role.
Key Responsibilities
Representing clients in misconduct proceedings, regulatory investigations, and serious criminal matters
Advising on disciplinary processes, inquests, and regulatory hearings
Managing a diverse caseload with a high degree of autonomy
Working closely with senior team members and external counsel to deliver strategic legal advice
Candidate Profile
Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
Demonstrated experience in criminal law, professional discipline, or regulatory litigation
Strong communication, drafting, and advocacy skills
Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle complex, sensitive cases with professionalism
Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset
