Job Description
Real Estate Solicitor / Senior Solicitor
Location: Birmingham or Manchester
Salary: £55,000 to 75,000 per annum (factoring in experience)
PQE: 2+ years
Clear Wave Search are proud to partner with one of the UK’s leading law firms, who are seeking an experienced solicitor, to focus on their real estate division.
Depending on the right candidate, this role can be based in either of their Birmingham or Manchester offices.
Our client’s national Real Estate team delivers a full spectrum of legal and advisory services across commercial property for both public and private sector clients. The team advises on heads of terms, development agreements, construction and planning matters, site disposals, funding arrangements, freehold transfers, lease grants and renewals, and portfolio management.
Projects range from city-centre regeneration schemes to bespoke ventures, with clients including major retailers, leisure operators, regional developers, local authorities, universities, and social housing providers.
The team also provides real estate support to corporate and banking practices, advising on easements, covenants, service charges, and land registration.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage your own caseload of real estate matters.
• Draft and prepare a wide range of real estate documents.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior colleagues where required.
• Ensure work is delivered to the highest professional standards.
• Meet financial and chargeable targets, deadlines, and KPIs.
• Contribute to team collaboration and uphold firm values.
About You
• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in real estate.
• Experience in development and regeneration work is advantageous.
• Strong academic background and technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines and targets.
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
