Job Description

Solution Architect 
1-2 days a week in Sheffield 
Initial 6-month Contract
£700 - £800 p/day | Inside IR35

We're recruiting for a Global IT Services Provider seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to operational resilience regulations and internal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Create resilience-focused HLDs/LLDs aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy
Translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs
Act as a design authority for resilience initiatives, reviewing and approving technical designs
Provide architectural input into programmes including technology modernisation, cloud migration and system decommissioning
Documentation & ReportingRequirements:

6+ years as a Solution Architect with proven experience working in a large enterprise bank within the past 3 years' (essential)
Experience across one or more of the following - Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
Knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is highly desirable
Knowledge of operational resilience frameworks, RTO/RPO, backup/DR, and dependency mapping.ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
