Solutions Architect (Databricks)
UK (remote), occasional travel to London
£650 - £750 per day outside IR35

Are you passionate about how Data and AI are transforming Financial Services and Insurance (FSI)?
We’re representing a leading Data & AI consultancy that’s who are looking to hire an experienced Solutions Architect to join their practice and play a pivotal role in shaping how major banks and insurers adopt modern data and AI solutions.
This is a senior role for someone who can bridge technical leadership, solution architecture, and presales. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to FSI clients, helping them define their vision for data transformation and guiding them through the design and implementation of solutions built on Databricks and the modern data stack.
Working closely with commercial and technical teams, you’ll take the lead in developing solution strategies, shaping technical roadmaps, and influencing decision-makers at CxO level. It’s a highly visible, client-facing role where you’ll be instrumental in driving digital transformation within the FSI sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead solution design and presales conversations with key clients, identifying business challenges and aligning them to Data + AI capabilities.
* Architect scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions leveraging Databricks and cloud technologies.
* Partner with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals, build proofs of concept, and ensure successful customer outcomes.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical leader and advisor.
About You
* Strong background in Financial Services or Insurance, with a deep understanding of the industry’s data and technology challenges.
* Proven track record in solution architecture or presales, ideally within a consultancy or vendor environment.
* Hands-on experience designing solutions across cloud, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML (Databricks experience a major plus).
* Confident communicator capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and CxOs.
* A natural problem-solver who thrives on helping clients modernise, innovate, and get value from their data.
