Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate imaging and patient care. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic information.HCPC registration or RCT is required

Responsibilities

  * Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.

  * Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.

  * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.

  * Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosing conditions.

  * Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting any issues promptly.

  * Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.

  * Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies.

Experience

  * A solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential for this role.

  * Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.

  * Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
