Multi-outlet Kitchen Operation | Lechlade, Cotswolds

Rhubarb Recruitment is presenting an exceptional opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a respected Cotswolds destination kitchen operation set in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside.

The successful chef will work across multiple high-quality kitchens, including a renowned farm-to-table produce-led restaurant kitchen and a beautifully restored village pub — gaining exposure to both refined, seasonal dining and elevated pub food, all driven by estate-grown and locally sourced produce.

The Offer

  * £44,000 package (£38,000 basic + approx. £6,000 service)

The Role

  * Sous Chef role across multiple kitchens within the estate

  * Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen leadership

  * Working with exceptional ingredients from kitchen gardens and trusted local suppliers

  * Training, mentoring and developing junior chefs

  * Maintaining standards, consistency and service delivery

The Ideal Chef

  * Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up

  * Strong organisational and leadership skills

  * Passion for seasonal, ingredient-led cooking

  * Calm, professional approach during busy services

  * Positive, team-focused and development-driven

Location Rural countryside setting near Lechlade, accessible from Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.
